The aftermath of 9/11 extremely altered the daily life of American citizens in many aspects. American airports have changed and the security there is very extreme. You cant get through the metal dectector with a belt on but back then you could get through with a small knife or box cutter. It's amazing how times have changed. I thought that the movie was done extremely well and it really portrayed all aspects of thwe day. From the people in tower 1 to the people in tower 2 who thoujght that they were safe to the parents who wanted to know where their children were, to the fireefighters and policeman that risked their lives. It makes you wonder what the people in the towers were thinking and what the people on thwe planes were thinking?
The United States has forever changed since that dreadful day.
I agree with Jack that 9/11 changed the daily life of American citizens.American airport security is much more tight because they now require travelers to take off their shoes, belts, and all other metal objects. security also does not let you through if you set off any alarms at the checkpoints. I also thought that the movie portrayed 9/11 very well and portrayed the seriousness of the situation. the movie makes you wonder how so many mistakes were made and if it could have been stopped.
ReplyDeleteI agree with with commenter above. I mean 9/11 caused US to invent a whole new branch of government. It was terrible event and the movie poprtrayed the emotions of the day very well. The mvie also showed that we the people, when untied can stand against even our own government.
ReplyDeleteI also agree with Nate and Jack. This was a point in our history where our future has changed forever. As Nate said, our security in general has been increased everywhere. I think this is a very good thing because when we were watching the movie, many people believed that the government could have done a better job of protecting the citizens of America. Hopefully these recent changes in security will benefit us for years to come.
