The most common U.S Street names. Second, third, first the are the three most common. Many of these streets involve numbered streets, references to nature, compass directions, surnames of famous people and some other descriptions. Washington obviously being a first president is ranked 17th overall but number one when compared to other important figures. I for one don't know of any Washington street names around here, however, there is a Franklin and Adams road near us. I was surprised that Cedar is the 13th rank because i feel like that is not a common street name, although it may be used a lot in different parts of the states. Even my own name is a top street name- Jackson. In honor of our president Andrew Jackson, it's ranked 33rd overall.
I think this is very interesting to see the most common road names in America. It is cool to see that there can be similar road names in very different locations. I was also surprised to see that Cedar is ranked 13th because I am pretty sure I have only seen one Cedar Street. I found it interesting that there were many names of trees ranked in the top 20. It is also cool how there are streets named after our first few important presidents.
