At this point in the regular season in the NBA the Golden State Warriors are projected to win the championship I couldn't agree more. The warriors are on fire and only have 6 loses on the season. The splash brothers ( Steph Curry and Klay Thompson) are just too much too much to handle above the arch and then you have Draymond Green, a former Spartan i'd like to point out, who is a absolute monster down low grabbing boards. Pulling in at the number 2 spot is the oldest team in the NBA, the Spurs. Tim Duncan has won a championship in 3 different decades. But I guess old man power rules since Duncan leads the team in rebounds and points. I personally think the pistons will win the championship. They are fire right now. Ever since the pitons got rid of Josh Smith they have been winning games and are a force that cannot be stopped.

I love that the pistons are doing well now. Ever since we got rid of josh smith we have been on back to back winning streaks. However I don't think the pistons have enough fire power to beat Golden State if they got into the finals. I agree with the many people out there that Golden State looks as if they'll win the championship. The Spurs will always be in a finals conversation yet I don't think they'll make this year because of Golden State. Overall I'm hoping for Bulls vs Golden State in the finals because I think those teams are evenly matched an d will provide a great series. Pistons are getting there, give them one or two more years and we might be be getting back to the team we knew in 04
ReplyDeleteThe smartest decision the Pistons made this year was waving Josh Smith. He is a natural power forward, but on the Pistons squad he played small forward, which did not fit him well. Not to mention his shooting game was sub par. Josh Smith plays better down low he was a very aggressive power forward and wasn't afraid to get down and dirty. Ever since we release him The Pistons have won 14-17 games and in my opinion they're on a nice hot streak. Even though the Pistons are not top contenders for winning the NBA finals such as the Golden State Warriors, San Antonio Spurs or the Chicago Bulls. They still have proved themselves as worthy contenders.
